The idea of recreating actual scenarios is excellent, but the wave action is what gets you...very real. take your Dramamine first. ;). This has become one of my favs. Look at the youtube of it for a look & feel of the weather, outdoor atmosphere. The ship detail is the best. Maybe they can use this as a trainer.
the youtube demo thing for this and it looked great, detail is perfect, water effects, weather, everything is 100%
What's interesting about this game is that all the scenarios are based on real-life events. You can even sail the Titanic. Plus, all of the ship data is legit. Another nice addition is you can explore your ship to inspect all the dials, rivets and bulkhead. You get to play with the water cannons and launch the lifeboats, too.
Since I can't go to Bora Bora this is the next best thing. It's also fun to help save the whales!
If you play this game you have to go to extremes! No calm waters for me... My fave is the snowey arctic!
